Our 6-Step Lawn Care Program

APPLICATION 1 – Wake Up
Early Spring fertilizers applied during this time typically contain a higher concentration of nitrogen to encourage early green-up and growth of the grass after winter dormancy. This round helps replenish nutrients lost during the winter months and provides the grass with the necessary nutrients for vigorous spring growth. We also apply a crabgrass prevention to help keep your lawn weed free all year long. *Landscape Bed Weed Control should be added to this application.

APPLICATION 2 – Flourish
The Late Spring/Early Summer application fertilizers continue to focus on promoting healthy growth and vigor. This round also helps prepare the grass for the stresses of summer, including heat and drought. *Grub Application should be added to this application.

APPLICATION 3 – Support
The Summer application fertilizers will apply balanced nutrients to sustain the grass during periods of high heat and stress. Specialized formulations may include slow-release nitrogen to provide continuous feeding over several weeks and reduce the risk of nutrient leaching during heavy rain.Summer fertilization helps maintain the color and density of the grass while promoting deep root growth to withstand drought conditions.

APPLICATION 4 – HEAL
The Late Summer/Early Fall Application is crucial for strengthening the grass before the onset of winter. These fertilizers often promote root development and enhance the grass’s resistance to cold weather, disease, and traffic stress. *Landscape Bed Weed Control should be added to this application.

APPLICATION 5 – Revitalize
The Fall application will use a balanced granular fertilizer to stimulate nutrients that are targeted towards root growth and recovery after summer stress. Fertilizers are used to promote root development and disease resistance. It helps the grass recover from summer damage and prepares it for winter survival. *Lawn Aeration & Overseeding should be done in the fall.

APPLICATION 6 – Suspend
The Fall application will emphasize winter preparation and early spring green-up. Fertilizers focus on storing nutrients in the roots for winter dormancy and quick recovery in spring. *Lawn Aeration & Overseeding should be done in the fall.
