In 2005 Benjamin Urcavich was a foreman and director within a successful Great Lakes commercial insulation business. After seeing a need in the industry for expert knowledge and experience in the installation, documentation and maintenance of firestopping projects, Ben focused his energies becoming that expert and incorporating this service offering. After 2 years of immense growth within his current company, Ben branched out and Performance Firestop, Inc. (PFS) was born. Since 2007, PFS has made it their mission to positively impact the commercial construction industry throughout the state by providing top notch, expert firestopping.
PFS continues to grow and expand their service base for their clients. Incorporating new technologies for Fire Safety, Fire Protection and Firestopping such as Photoluminesence, Engineering Consulting and Custom Barrier Management Programs for corporations and organizations around the Great Lakes.
